Max Friedman

Max joined SignalFire in 2025 as a Principal Software Engineer.

Before SignalFire, he worked on the financial platform team at Discord, developing pipelines for financial reporting and data integrity. Prior to that, Max worked on payments engineering at Lyft, and built a real-time ad auction system at Vungle. He started his career at Facebook, where he overhauled the status composer on the mobile site and helped to integrate ads into the news feed.

Max graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Computer Science. He spends most of his time outside of work with his young daughter and enjoys video games, sci-fi novels, playing the drums, and pickleball.
