Heliya joined the SignalFire team in Spring of 2021 to manage accounting and financial operations. Previous to SignalFire, Heliya served as a Senior Audit Associate in KPMG's San Francisco office where she specialized in financial reporting of venture capital funds (ASC 946 and ASC 820). She participated in KPMG's leadership program in 2015, and later completed a global internship in New Zealand before focusing her efforts on Bay Area registered investment advisors in the venture capital space.Heliya is passionate about equal access to education and supporting our underserved youth. Heliya was raised in the Bay Area and currently spends her time reading, hiking and doing yoga in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Heliya is a licensed CPA in the state of California, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
