Director of Technical Talent
Gana Rajasegaran joined SignalFire in 2026 as Director of Technical Talent, where he partners with portfolio companies to design and execute talent acquisition strategies across technical functions, including Engineering, ML/AI, Design, and Product. He brings more than nine years of experience supporting organizations of all sizes, from early-stage startups to global public companies.
Most recently, Gana spent four and a half years at Atlassian as a Lead Technical Recruiter, where he built and scaled teams globally across the US, India, Europe, and Australia. He led hiring for entire Engineering and Machine Learning functions and specialized in recruiting for highly niche roles across the Applied AI space. Prior to Atlassian, Gana worked at Lyft, where he helped grow the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) division in Palo Alto, California.
Earlier in his career, Gana supported leading search firms across the United States, recruiting for startups in Biotechnology, Medical Devices, SaMD, and Digital Health. This breadth of experience has given him a deep understanding of the technical talent landscape across multiple industries.
Gana is an experienced technical talent acquisition leader with a track record of building and scaling engineering organizations at both the individual contributor and executive levels. He is passionate about creating strategic, efficient, and founder-friendly recruiting practices that enable companies to hire specialized technical talent at scale. Outside of work, Gana is an avid 49ers fan having grown up in the Bay Area and spends his free time either golfing or exploring the unmatched food scene in San Francisco.
