Ellen Salisbury

Ellen currently serves as Managing Director of Start Smart Labs, a Big Data Incubator for startups that are developing data intensive applications on Hadoop. Ellen was previously Vice President of Business Operations at Altiscale. Prior to Altiscale, Ellen spent several years at Yahoo!, where she served as Vice President of Engineering. Ellen graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Humanities and holds an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
